08. Tolerance for our Land
And the Land devours its inhabitants
And we still cannot digest
That it cannot be satiated
And we continue to conquer her
She arranges for herself a luxurious feast
In which the wine is more spilled blood
And we drown in our grief
And will awake with no memory!
It is true, the faith is very ancient,
More so than others
But there’s only a few of us that remain without land
While the others cover continents
We came to shine a light unto the nations
And instead grudgingly act out an eye for an eye,
But the idea is a folly
Leaving everyone blind!
Men treat their fellow men
Like they drive on the roads
A flock of sheep gone astray
Pushing in all directions
“Where is the shepherd?” is an unnecessary question.
Search not for a divine melody
As the car’s horn, my friend,
Is the instrument of ritualistic folklore!
We are enslaved by Passover!
And you will see that in the end, we adapt.
A land flowing with Milk, honey and blood -
Is one where children are dying!
Surely the mothers know to expect
tomorrow’s sandy heat waves and dust,
Yet they will return in the Springtime
To clean the shutters!
Morning prayer, evening prayer, Genesis, Apocalypse
Reality is a variable concept
A bearded woman in an easy gig
With an amusing street circus!
She will wander the globe, bring a profitable income
And all the while leaving behind her prayer shawl, underwear, brazier and ritual tassels
Laid up in the closet with the phylacteries,
Stinking of mothballs!
The common term “sucker”
Has spread here like a weed.
Uproot it, plant tolerance,
Till, fertilize and water!
Military people lower the flags,
While spiritual people blow life back into them
Humans are all the same,
We all have red blood!
Tolerance for our land
Tolerance - because we are tired of dying
Tolerance - because we are tired of killing
Well come on tolerance, hurry up!
Tolerance tur-tur-tur-tur…
Turn and turn we turn again…
Turn in the end, it turns out well
Meditation is listening and merging... Hope this music will evoke a sentiment that will bring happiness, joy, comfort, and connection with something that you hold dear!
